Spartan Race is the world's best obstacle course race, with over 165 races in 39 countries around the world this year. Spartan Race is not your everyday running race - expect to run, climb, push, pull, throw and crawl through walls, hills, trees, mud, barbed wire and other challenging but fun obstacles.
All Spartan courses are designed to challenge you physically. We can’t spell out what exactly you will face, what fun would that be. However, we can assure there will be fire, mud, water, barbed wire, and occasionally Hell on Earth. Spartan Race is designed to pull you from your comfort zone and challenge you.

Spartan Race obstacles strike fear into the hearts of many who battle with the course. Race after race, our obstacles continue to taunt even the most seasoned racers. Take the Rope Climb, for example. If you don’t have the upper body strength, or know how to employ hook holds with your feet, it may be 30 burpees for you. Another obstacle racers love to hate is the Spear Throw. How many times have you seen people fail this obstacle, while others make it look so effortless?
Many obstacles will confront you on your path to Spartan victory, and it is here that we will begin to introduce you some of our signature ones, and what you can do to prepare for them

Spartan is comprised of World Class Athletes. One thing that separates Spartan Inc. from all other mud runs, is the fact that we time our racers. The company is all about self-improvement, but that doesn’t mean we don’t value winning.
In Japan, Spartan Race started in May 2017 at U.S. Army Sagami General Depot. Luminox sponsored from 2nd Race, on Oct.21 2017 at SAGAMIKO, followed by the race at GERMAN VILLAGE (Chiba) on May.19 and the race at MINAKAMI SKY RESORT on Sep.8th. Next race will be the first stadium race at SENDAI RAKUTEN STADIUM on Dec.15!
